Round About Ceramics
by Imogen Elizabeth
Round About Ceramics sells handmade ceramic homeware. My pieces are hand thrown by myself (Imogen) in my studio from near Bath, UK. I studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art in London. I am strongly inspired by nature, the Art Deco movement and the 1960’s bold use of colour. My pottery designs are minimal yet bright, with playful designs that merge beauty and functionality into everyday life. My aim is to bring a smile and a little bit of joy to your everyday routines.

Sustainability
Doing our bit to be eco-friendly is important to me. The boxes are made from recycled materials and each order is hand wrapped in paper bubblewrap and surrounded by biodegradable corn starch chips that dissolve in water! The paper tape is self-adhesive and my stickers are made from recycled paper with no solvent. If you find plastic bubblewrap or plastic packing chips in your order then it will be second (maybe even third) hand to avoid unnecessary plastic going into landfill. I encourage you to do the same with all the packaging you receive from your orders. It is obviously important to keep the ceramics safe in transit but I try our best to do so in a sustainable way. I also aspire to be eco friendly within my creating process and use non-toxic glazes. My products are also designed to last when used with care and can be used time and time again.
